Okay, I just came up with a REALLY good idea. If anyone out there who is really good at dog and human animation/drawing please pay close attention: I am going to attempt to make a movie out of one of my most beloved books, The Boy Who Spoke Dog, by Clay Morgan. It's an amazing read if anyone is interested. But continuing on info, I need an animator and cast members. Please comment on this note if you are interested in a part . PLEASE HURRY!!

Parts:
Jack- an orphaned boy that gets stranded on an island near New Zealand. line for audition: "You must be the grandfather," <--say as though you were gesturing to somebody or something, be slightly solemn and calm when you say it, and you can whisper if you want to.

Moxie- a black and white border collie that befriends Jack.
line for audition: "How did killing a sheep turn a dog into a fango?" fango is pronounced FAYN-GO, say sort of fast, a little jumpy, but curious and naive.

Kelso- german shepherd, male, leader of the small pack of sheepdogs that befriends jack. line for audition: "A true dog cannot kill sheep." Say this with wisdom and depth, make your voice deep, like a growl almost. or like aslan from chronicles of narnia.

Old Sage- old english sheepdog, blind, oldest member of the pack of sheepdogs that befriends Jack. line for audition: "Fango still lives. Only he and I are old enough to remember the humans and the great war." okay this is gonna sound a little akward, but say this line as though mufasa from lion king would.

Mr. Bones/ Fango- head of the fangos. evil and despicable.
line for audition- "-Yyyyooo," say this line with a stuttering, choked voice. make it sound hoarse and evil, sickening when one hears it.

Cookie- assistant capitan of the patty b.:takes Jack in from the orphanage to have him as a cabin boy on the ship. line for audition- "We may be eating these raw. In a storm perhaps?" say it with a hint of insanity in your voice, along with the roughness of a pirate's vocals.

Toa/ Tanati- maori twins that are part of patty b.'s crew. line for autidion: "You sabbee, Jack! Sabbee?" Shout as though you were talking over a roaring storm out at sea, and you dont have a very good understanding of english.

these are the parts up for grabs rite now. please comment with a link to your video (should post audition on youtube or other videosharing site) and i will put your username under the part you recieve. I also am looking for an animator that can draw dogs and humans very well. they can be anime, cartoonish, or realistic, just so long as you can animate them and still make them look professionally done. I dont want any profit out of this, just something i conjured up in my spare time. PLEASE RESPOND SOON!!
